A few days in nature without a device, pen and paper. Only with water and yourself. I did it a few years ago and realized how beautiful nature is. Why do we distinguish between animals? Why do we like pets and there are other animals, which we only see as consumption? How we currently keep animals for consumption, the earth depletes enormously. Through animal-free food, 75% of agriculture could be returned to nature. That's an area the size of the US, China, EU and Australia combined.

To make a difference, I started Natulatte. Back in the office drinking a cup of coffee I realized that the coffee corner is not only boring, but also not animal-free. With Natulatte we offer a vegan milk powder, based on oats for all coffee corners as a better, healthier and more sustainable alternative. With the look and feel we also bring a lot of joy.

We are excited! About the world, the environment, freedom and happiness of people and animals... And we show that with our plant-based latte's! We look forward to a world where the ecosystem is balanced, the world can be fed and where there is no more pollution and global warming. To a world where we can live sustainably and ethically with 7 billion people and a wide variety of wildlife.

When developing a vegan milk powder, two things were important: the taste had to be really good and the product should be able to replace cow's milk powder 1 to 1. That makes switching to a vegan milk powder super simple.

My mission is 'freedom and happiness for all beings'. Well being of animals is linked to ours. If there are no more animals living in factory farming, we as humans can live happier and more sustainable on the earth. World hunger is a big and growing problem. Worldwide, 75% of the land is used for animal food, to feed the animals that we consume. If you take the animal out of our food, you can give land back to nature. Part of the land can also be used against world hunger. I want to contribute to a livable world, for my children, their children and future generations.

Natulatte is a sustainable start-up, offering animal-free coffee breaks, with our delicious hot chocolate mix and cappuccino topping for professional coffee machines. The well-known machines that you see everywhere: in schools, universities, companies, hospitals, offices etc! Natulatte's contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (# SDGs) of the United Nation is:

#SDG2 Contribute to the fight against world hunger. If we didn't use land to grow food for livestock, 75% agricultural land would be available to grow an abundance of food for all people. There would also be more than enough land left to give back to nature.

#SDG13 Climate Action, removing animals from our diet is the solution to the climate problem. Global warming can stop when there is more room for nature again. More rain forests increase CO2 absorption.

#SDG14 Life Below Water, surplus manure from factory farming leaks into the oceans, resulting in dead zones. Also global warming causes dead coral reefs and melting polar caps. As a side effect: Encouraging people to choose less animals in their diet also helps to prevent over-fishing.

#SDG15 Life On Land, deforestation wouldn't be necessary to grow food for livestock and even land is left when we switch to a plant based diet. This way we combat deforestation and the loss of biodiversity on earth.
