Step 1. Personal guidance and clarity

What is very different from the 'Do It Yourself' course, is that we make the content for you instead of you making the content yourself for your Pitch Deck, from experience the story becomes clearer and shorter much faster, something that an investor is very concerned about and appreciates. After that, we will go through the steps you need to take to build the Pitch Deck. A Pitch Deck needs to be crystal clear in regards to the WHY, HOW and WHAT you do, in a KISS (Keep It Simple & Stupid) formula, so keep it simple & stupid. After this session you are able to explain to a 6-year-old child what you do.

Step 2. Narrative

Who doesn’t love a good story? When you were a kid you demanded your mother to tell you a bedtime story. Investors, unlike you, are not ashamed to still want to be told a nice mid-morning-meeting story. It’s not nice when you don't tell them a good story, but only a few do this. The difference between an ok and killer deck is a compelling story (or narrative) that shows through. In this 90 min session, we will explain the details of what a good Pitch deck story should look like and you will make your own story together with us.

Step 3. Content

I think people get smarter when you put them in situations where they have to put themselves in another place. In this session you will learn how to think like an investor and which key questions they want answered in your Pitch Deck. Startups want to sell a product or service and investors want to build companies. This is a very big difference. In this session you will write all the content for your Pitch Deck and look at your financial model. We will guide you personally to help you to create the best Content for your Pitch Deck we will look at the materials you already have business plans, financial plans and help to translate this into the perfect personalized content for your Pitch Deck in which we will delete a lot of information so it becomes crystal clear for investors what you do and what your needs are, you will learn how to think like an investor and what key questions do they want to be seen answered in your Pitch Deck.

Step 4. Design

After the content is clear, it's time to put some emotion into it and make your Pitch Deck beautiful. We will pay a lot of attention to the front page. This is a very important page, because if it looks bad, investors will not feel invited to read the whole Pitch Deck. We will show how to make it look nice. Remember, you only have one chance to make a first good impression.

Step 5. Sharing is caring

In this step we will give you personalized feedback. This feedback is valuable to finish up the last details for your perfect Pitch Deck.
